Dorothy M. Fowley

Dorothy M. Fowley Bay City, Michigan Our loving and caring aunt passed away peacefully Monday, July 18, 2016 at Sheffield Bay at the age of 100 years. The daughter of the late Fred W. and Mary C. (McKenzie) Fowley was born November 9, 1915 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church -West Campus. Dorothy retired from Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan as an executive secretary in the statistics department. Left behind to cherish her memories are four nephews and two nieces; Larry and Suzanne Hannant, Harold Hannant, Robert and Georgie Fowley, James Fowley, Ellen Buchler and Lori Fowley, many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents; Fredrick and Mary Catherine she was preceded in death by one sister; Ruth Mary Hannant, two brothers; Robert Fowley and Mack Fowley, one nephew; William Fowley and one great nephew; Kevin Buchler. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Saturday July 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church-West Campus, 4267 Two Mile Road Bay City, MI 48706. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Temple with private interment in Elm Lawn Park Cemetery. There will be on visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. The family will be present at the church on Saturday to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to Grace United Methodist Church.
