Mrs. Wilson passed away Thursday morning September 17, 2015 at Bay Medical Care Facility in Essexville, MI. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Sidney and Agnes (Raska) Ribeaud was born on March 25, 1927 in Bay City, MI and has resided here all of her life. She graduated in 1945 from Bay City Central High School and continued her education at Saginaw Valley State College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education. Dorothy was formerly employed as an English teacher in the Bay City and Bangor Twp. Schools. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church, was currently a member of Grace Church and was a charter member of Olde Thyme Herb Society. Dorothy was particularly gifted in art, and enjoyed painting, everything from watercolor to acrylic and oil. Left behind to cherish her memories one son and one daughter-in-law; Louis J. and Mary Lou Wilson of Bay City two grandchildren and their spouses; David and Jackie Wilson of West Lafayette, IN and Ann Marie and Jerzy Drozd of Ann Arbor, MI, three great grandchildren; Alexander David, Jonathan Antonio and Christopher James Wilson, three sisters-in-law; Dolly Ribeaud of Bay City, Loretta Jane Waters of Houston, TX and Patricia Wilson of Saginaw and many nieces and nephews. On June 8, 1947 she was united in marriage to John Andrew Wilson in Kawkawlin Community Church and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2009. She was also preceded in death by one brother; Louis F. Ribeaud and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral Services will take place Monday September 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Church 4267 2 Mile Rd, Bay City, MI 48706. Officiating will be Rev. Eric D. Kieb and Rev. Jeff Temple with interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will be at the church on Monday to receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. There will be no visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to Grace Church.
