Douglas Brian Doud Sr.

Doug passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Mary's of Michigan-Standish Hospital at the age of 50 years. He was born January 30, 1963 in Bay City, Michigan. Doug was employed by Universal Roofing as a roofer. He enjoyed to go hunting and fishing. Left behind to cherish Doug's memory is his girlfriend, Janet Michalski; his mother, Sally Doud; his children, Douglas Brian Jr. (his fiancé, Ann Marie Aiken) Doud; Matthew (Jessica) Doud, Justin (Krysta) Doud; Nathan Doud and Caitlin Doud, the mother of his children, Lauri Doud; his grandchildren, Hunter Brian, Hayleigh Brooke, Hannah Bell and Kadence Marie Doud his brothers and sister, Edward (Yvonne) Doud, David (Stacey) Doud, Linda (Rod) O'Hanlon and Michael (Mary) Doud and many nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his father, Edward Doud. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev Joseph Atchinson. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Following the funeral service it was Doug's wish to be cremated.
