Dustin E. Mervyn

Mr. Dustin E. Mervyn, of Bay City, passed away Monday morning, June 20, 2016 following a long battle with end-stage renal disease, age 36. The son of the late Alan and Pam (McCann) Mervyn, he was born on February 3, 1980 in Bay City. Dustin enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a big sports fan, especially basketball. He liked to shop and was never without his vape pen.
Dustin is survived by his son, Dustin Lee Mervyn; his cousins, Melvin and Meleney Pully; his brother, Kevin Mervyn; and his good friend, Nicole Marcott. Besides his parents, Dustin was also preceded in death by his infant daughter, Destiny Mervyn.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Dustin's life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Pully / Mervyn Residence, 205 Sidney St. in Bay City starting at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
