Dylan James Hewitt

Dylan James Hewitt passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the age of 32. He was born on January 2, 1992 in Bay City, Michigan to his father, Robert Ramsey who is now deceased and his mother, Tammy Hewitt.

Dylan enjoyed music and would sing the lyrics to Jay Z Empire State of Mind without missing a beat. He also was a huge sports fan. He favored football especially this year with our Detroit Lions at the top of the NFC division… Go Lions!!! Also, Dylan loved family and life to the fullest, his heart was sincere, genuine and as big as he was at 6’ 4”.

Dylan is survived by his mother, Tammy Hewitt; sister, Kylie Hewitt; Kylie’s children, Kaylub Akers, Kadin Hewitt and Klole; Dylans brother, Dusty Hewitt and his child, Devin Hewitt.

 At the request of Dylan, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to the wishes of the family. 

 A song has been selected, Hold On My Heart by English rock band, Genesis. A favorite of mom Tammy!!

In closing there is a beautiful hope recorded in Revelations 21:3,4 look the tent of God is with man-kind and he will reside with them and they will be with them… and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away…Amen
