E. Madeline Neumeyer

Madeline passed away Tuesday morning, August 15, 2017 at her residence. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late August and Ellen (Dalrymple) Krushensky was born June 7, 1925 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. Madeline graduated from Central High School in 1943. On June 8, 1946 she married Erwin "Erv" Neumeyer who preceded her in death on September 7, 1987. Madeline and her late husband were the owners of the Monnie Lynn Motel which they built, owned and operated from 1961 to 2012. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed playing skipbo. Mrs. Neumeyer is survived by her daughter, Diana Histed of Bay City; two grandchildren, Hope Histed (Cuyler Zirwes) and Jeremy (Tina) Histed; four great grandchildren, Connor (Marisa), Ronan, Haven and Hudson; two great-great grandchildren, Zayvien and Anavaeh; nieces and nephews and very special friends Della and Cliff Merrill. Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. William H. Allwardt officiating. Entombment will take place in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
