Campbell, Earl L. "Campy" Kawkawlin, Michigan Mr. Campbell passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Heartland Health Care Hampton. Age 75 years. The son of the late Lloyd and Viola (Williams) Campbell was born February 23, 1939 in AuGres, Michigan. He retired from General Motors as a Millwright after 35 years of service. Mr. Campbell enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing, working on cars, country music and spending time outdoors. Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife the former Norma J. Sauer whom he married May 10, 1969; his children, Barry Campbell and his friend Karen Phillips, Stacey L. (William) Jakobi, Keith E. (Sharon) Campbell, Kevin E. (Cherri) Campbell, Sherry Simons, Jerry Simons, Sandy Simons, Lori (Robert) Gaul and Michelle Simons; twenty two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Campbell; many nieces and nephews; his ex-wife, Della M. Dora and his special friend, Debbie Wark. In addition to his parents Mr. Campbell was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. At the request of Mr. Campbell cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Crump Conservation Club; a second memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Charles Campbell. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in the Alger Cemetery. Friends may call at the Crump Conservation Club on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. and until the time of service and at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 12:00 O' Clock Noon and until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
