Earl Junior Peters

Peters, Earl Junior of Bay City, Michigan passed away Thursday afternoon April 19, 2012 at Brian's House. Age 85 years. He was born June 15, 1926 in Carrollton, Michigan. He resided in Merrill for several years and in Bay City for the last thirty six years. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church and retired from Dow Chemical Company in Midland as a mason. He is survived by his wife the former Lois Bernice Wuepper whom he married on August 31, 1974, six children; Kay, Connie, Bonnie, Gail, David, Danny, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, two step children; Bernice Cusick and Robert Wuepper, one sister; Lorraine Sedlik and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Elmer and Hazel (Sauvage) Peters, two sisters; Joyce Reno and Donna Jackson and one brother; Paul Peters. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday April 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1010 33rd St. Bay City, MI 48708. Officiating will be Rev. Richard D. Starr with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Mr. Peters will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home.
