Earl James Rogner

Rogner, Earl James Sr. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Rogner passed away Tuesday morning October 8, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region with his family at his side. Age 72 years. He was born June 14, 1941 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. Earl was a member of the Teamsters Local #486 and retired as a truck driver after forty eight years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife the former Linda Aikens, three children; Michelle and Jeffrey Katt, Earl James Rogner II and Jennifer and William Shields, six grandchildren; Hannah and Jacob Katt, Laken and Addisen Rogner, Annalisa Morse and William Shields II, three sisters; Sheila Casey, Rose Steffey and Maureen Martin, his mother-in-law; Florence Aikens and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; Ivan and Harriet (Maher) Rogner and his father-in-law; Herbert Aikens. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the "Wishes of the Family" will be available.
