Edward G. LaVictor

Edward passed away on Monday afternoon, January 1, 2018 at Sheffield Bay Assisted Living at the age of 91 years. Edward was born in Bay City on August 12, 1926 to the late Albert and Eleanor (Koch) LaVictor. Edward married the former Patricia Marie Pollum on October 13, 1951. After spending many years together she passed away in February 2015. Together they were members of Corpus Christi Parish-St. Hedwig Church. Edward worked for Dow Chemical power maintenance department for 35 years and retired in 1982. Edward served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.
Surviving are his sons, Roche (Linda) and Brad (Laurel) LaVictor; grandchildren, Dustin (Cody) and Cameron (Whitney) Cichocki and Kyle LaVictor; great grandchildren, Carter, Cole, Abraham and Luci Cichocki. Edward was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason LaVictor and brother, Albert LaVictoire.
Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish- St. Hedwig Church. The celebrant will be Rev Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Friends may visit with the family at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.
