Elaine Marie (Clark) LaBerge

Mrs. LaBerge passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Toni and Trish House. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late George Sr. and Anna (Mervyn) Clark was born March 11, 1929 in Prescott, Michigan. Mrs. LaBerge enjoyed playing cards and bingo, feeding her cats, visiting the senior center and eating double blueberry pancakes at Bob Evans.
Mrs. LaBerge is survived by one daughter, Susan Slates; one son, George (Carol) LaBerge; five grandchildren, Tracy, Paul (Letty), Jacquie (Jay), Dr. Lisa and Melanie (Josh); eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brothers, Leighton and John Clark; two sisters, Joyce (Ray) Humphrey and Emma (Jim) Minhinnick; one sister-in-law, Pauline Gehringer; special niece, Nancy Gehringer and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Arnold LaBerge; son-in-law, Harvey Slates; granddaughter, Stacie; two great granddaughters, Natalie and Gillian; brothers and sisters-in-law, Loren (Doris) Clark, George Jr. (Virginia) Clark, Randel (Judy) Clark, Bill Clark, Harold Clark, Mary Clark and Janet Clark.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Toni and Trish House for their kind and compassionate care, especially, Stephanie, Wanda, Jackie and Lisa.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Private interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Following the governors updated restrictions as of October 9, 2020 we will be able to allow 50 people in our chapel at one time, and we will be requiring masks and social distancing in the chapel. You may experience a slight delay while paying your respects to the family.
