Elaine M. Gottleber

Elaine passed away, Sunday, June 4, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side at the age
of 82. She was born to the late Peter and Alice (Urbaniak) Spychalski on June 21, 1940 in Bay City,
Michigan and graduated from Bay City Central High School with the class of 1958. Elaine enjoyed
drawing, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Elaine had a devout faith in Jehovah God
and the resurrection.

Elaine is survived by her son, David (Kristyn) Gottleber; grandchildren, Arik Gottleber, Kaila Gottleber
(fiancé, Michael Restifo), and Andrew Gottleber (girlfriend, Savannah Lintz); Angela La-Plunt, Arthur
Miller, Gary A. (Janelle) Gottleber, Robert (Saylor) Gottleber and Marie (Zane) Ciaciuch; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Spychalski and Gary Spychalski; daughter-in-law, Roberta Gottleber; one
niece and two nephews; and her best friend, Connie Balenda.

In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her son, Gary J. Gottleber; and sister-in-law,
Patricia Spychalski.

The family would like to express their extreme appreciation to Chandler, Elaine’s nurse at McLaren Bay
Region ICU, for all the love and care she provided to Elaine and the family.

At the request of Elaine, Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. A memorial
service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in
Bay City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family.
