Elaine Rose Schneider

Elaine passed away, Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center at the age of 96 years. Daughter of the late George and Edith (Reinhardt) Welch was born September 28, 1923 in Bay City, Michigan. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family.

Elaine is survived by her son, William Schneider of Rhodes, Michigan; daughter, Judy (Walt) Reinke of Kawkawlin, Michigan; sister, Karen Dzuba; eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, William Schneider who passed away in 1980 and two sisters.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Bay Shores Nursing Staff and to Southern Care Hospice.

Per Elaine's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial and committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Jacob M. Reich. Private inurnment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Family will be present at the church on Thursday, December 5, 2019 to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to the wishes of the family.
