Elaine Soderquist

Elaine passed away early Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 at the Carriage House Nursing Home. Age 98 years. The daughter of the late Mortz and Cora (Zeder) Riegel was born June1, 1919 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a longtime member of First United Church of Christ. Elaine graduated from Bay City Junior College. She enjoyed her pet dogs, knitting and crocheting.
Left behind to cherish her memories is one son, David Soderquist; one granddaughter, Carey (Mike) Luczak; one great grandson, Logan Luczak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Soderquist; two sons, John and Richard Soderquist; one brother Robert Riegel.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Jansen with private interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
