Elaine M. Stanley

Stanley, Elaine M. Essexville, Michigan Mrs. Stanley passed away early Saturday morning April 9, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 86 years. She was born July 19, 1924 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of the AM Vets Post 22, retired from the Best Western Hotel on Bay Road and Normandy Clothing Co. She is survived by her husband of sixty seven years Ernest W. Stanley whom she married on October 10, 1944 in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She is also survived by one brother-in-law; Richard Stanley and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Peter and Alvina Reinhardt, her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Edward and Julia Ann Stanley, two sisters; Marie Barber and Lucille Jean, two brothers-in-law; Louis Stanley and Gerald Stanley and four sisters-in-law; Thelma Horner, Blanche Sater, Marlene Schuch and Noreen Waterbury. At the request of Mrs. Stanley her body has been donated to the University of Michigan Anatomical Donations Program. There will be no services at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc..
