Eleanor M. Ebel

Mrs. Eleanor M. Ebel, of Bay City, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Huron Woods Nursing Home. Age 93 years. The daughter of the late Alphonse and Martha (Rubis) Niedzielski was born October 4, 1919 in Bay City, Michigan. Eleanor attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mrs. Ebel is survived by two children, Robert Zaytsow and Judith Pfund; four grandchildren, Gary (Lori) Pfund, Jamie (John) Gradowski, Tiffany Zaytsow and Taylor Zaytsow; one great grandchild, Emily Gradowski; one like a daughter, Mary Ann Revard; one brother, Gerald (Ruth) Niedzielski; one sister-in-law, Frieda Szczesniak and one brother-in-law, Ben Ebel; one special nephew, Bill Niedzielski and many other nieces and nephews. In addition the her parents Eleanor was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Ebel; one son-in-law, Gary Pfund; two brothers, Alfonse and Arthur Niedzielski and several brothers and sisters-in-law. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her neighbors and the staff at Huron Woods Nursing Home for the excellent care that they gave to Eleanor. At the request of Mrs. Ebel cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Jerzy Dobosz with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
