Eleanora M. Johnson

Our angel (Blondie) Eleanora M. Johnson (Gerhauser) has gone to be with her Lord this 11th day of July, 2024.

 Born November 18, 1921. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph Thomas Johnson, whom she married on May 21, 1949; parents, John and Alma (Schnell) Gerhauser; two brothers, Clarence (Verna) Gerhauser and Norman (Antonette) Gerhauser; brother-in-law, Clarence Ruff; son-in-law, Timothy D. Barkell and stepdaughter, Kay (Charles) Steinhaus.

 She leaves behind a daughter, Linda Barkell and special friend, Tony Herbers; grandchildren, Tracey (Robert) Koehler, Angelia (Scott) Larkin and James (Shannon) Brewer; great grandchildren, Savannah and Hunter Koehler, Morgan, Riley and Ethan Larkin and Talon, Dylan and Lexie Brewer; two step-grandchildren, Holly (Steve) Karlson and Charles (Jan) Steinhaus; two great-great grandsons, Bentley and Elijah; sister, Irene Ruff and many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

 Blondie, as she was known by all, will be greatly missed. We have been blessed to have her in our lives for 102 years!

 Funeral service for Blondie will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home with interment to follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Steven Thiel. The family will be present to receive visitors on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
