Elizabeth M. Jonas

Jonas, Elizabeth M. Auburn, Michigan Mrs. Jonas passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Carriage House Nursing Home. Age 107 years. The daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Satkowiak was born August 7, 1905 in Kawkawlin, MI. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and crafts. She is survived by her children; Pete (Dorothy) Jonas, Clement (Paula) Jonas, Paul (Arlene) Jonas, Elizabeth Carmichael, Rita Meilstrup, Lawrence (Sally) Jonas, Mary Ann Bonkowski, Michael (Janet) Jonas and Anthony Jonas, her daughter-in-law; Joyce (Gilbert) Rytlewski, 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, her sisters and brother; Alice Rezmer, Marge Petrimoulx, Pete Satkowiak and Rita (George) Swierzbin, her sister-in-law; Mary Satkowiak. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Clement Jonas, one son; Wilfred Jonas and one daughter; Margaret Jonas. At the request of Mrs. Jonas cremation has taken place. A memorial mass is being planned for a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc.
