Shook, Elizabeth Loraine (Roberts) Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Shook passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 90 years. Loraine was the daughter of Edward and Mary Mollie (Reaume) Roberts, and was born on March 15, 1927 in Bay City. She married Charles J. Shook and together they raised six children. She lived in Bay City her entire life. She worked for the Made Rite Potato Chip Company in Bay City for 25 years before retiring in 1991. She was also known for a love of her family, pets and cookie baking. Surviving Loraine are four children; Mollie (John) Peterson of Gaylord, Mary (Pete) Woloshik of Bay City, David (Kitty) Shook of Essexville, and Mark (Pam) Shook of Fairgrove, daughter-in-law, Rosa Shook of Linwood, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Patricia (Raymond) Kirchoffer of Bay City, and a sister-in-law, Betty Shook of Bay City, as well as many very special nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; sons, Lawrence and Charles W., sisters; Marie Fekas, Sr. Eleanor Marie Roberts RSM, Marion Roberts and Betty LaMere; daughter-in-law, Debra May. Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie with private interment following at St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. In keeping with her Catholic faith, memorial contributions will be available for the Sisters of Mercy. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
