Ellen L. Arnett

Ellen L. Arnett, of Bay City, passed away Monday evening August 20, 2012 at Tendercare of Midland, age 89. The daughter of the late William and Louise (Christie) Barcia, she was born February 18, 1923 in Bay City. Besides living in Bay City for most of her life, Ellen also resided in Florida for many years. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Arnett in 1975. Mrs. Arnett is survived by her son, Richard (Jo) Arnett of Bay City; two daughters, Louise (Paul) Smith of Linwood and Charlotte (Robert) Jenkins of Sanford; nine grandchildren, Scott, Todd, Noelle, Rachelle, Stephen, Sarah, Nicholas, Jeffrey and Samantha; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Janet Barcia of California. It was Mrs. Arnett's wishes for cremation take place and that no public services to be held.
