It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and brother passed away Saturday September 6, 2014 at Bay Shores Nursing Care. He was born March 10, 1922 to Herman and Louise Kussro in Bay City and was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Elmer was a Naval veteran of World War II serving in the Solomon Islands on PT (Patrol Torpedo) boats. He was employed as a driver for Greyhound Lines, Inc. for 37 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, travel and had a love for golf during his retirement. He is survived by his children; Karl (Marian), Raymond (Jan), DeAnna Johnson, Wendy Davison (Mike). He leaves thirteen grandchildren; Ray Jr., Tracie, Janelle, Mandy, John, Lauren, Ben, Jenni, B. J., Katherine, Jon, Hilary, and Shelly, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and sister Lornetta Rabideau. He was predeceased by his wife Betty, sisters Dorothy, Lois and brother Herman. Memorial services date and time pending. Funeral and interment services will be private.
