Elvin G. LaBrosse "Al" Bay City, Michigan Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Sunday February 5, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 89 years. The son of the late Phillip Ferdinard and Bernice Hazel (Greanya) LaBrosse was born February 8, 1927 in Standish, Michigan. He was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, retired as an insulator from Asbestos Workers Local 47, was a member of the Linwood Sportsman's Club, enjoyed his pistol league and was an avid bow hunter. He was a Christian Gentleman and touched everyone he meet and will be sadly missed. On September 3, 1977 he married the former Lois H. Weishuhn Johannes and she is left to cherish his memories along with his children; Debra and James Sinay of Wakeforest, NC, Martin and Karen LaBrosse of Miami Beach, FL, Janet and Andrew Henning of Mt. Pleasant, John Johannes and his companion Debi Cox of Bay City and Janet Johannes of Bay City, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one brother; Elwood LaBrosse, one sister; Jacqueline Bennett and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Beverly HuslanderLaBrosse and one brother; Henry LaBrosse. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Grace Church West Campus, 4267 Two Mile Road Bay City, Michigan 48706. Officiating will be Pastor Eric Kieb. The family will be present at the church on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to "The Wishes of the Family"
