Smith, Emily J. Bay City, Michigan On Thursday, December 7, 2010 our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called home unexpectedly. She was born May 3, 1932 to Cuthbert and Margaret Bailey in Williamsburg, VA and adopted parents Ralph and Elizabeth Orcutt. Mom you left us with heavy hearts and many tears to go be with your heavenly family. We've shared a lot of tears and laughter together and you were always there for us. What will we do without you now? You will always be with us in our hearts and our memories. We know that someday we will be with you again. God called you home because he needed another Angel. We know you'll be watching over us. Surviving are three children; Linda (Raymond) Bellhorn of Linwood, Mary Kendall (Bruno) of Beaverton and Robert Callahan of New Haven, two sisters; Ann (Jimmy) Carter of Glen Allen, VA and Evelyn (Leon) Syth of Kalispell, MT, sister-in-law; Agnes Bailey of Ashland, VA, grandchildren; Tina Gravlin (Paul), Tom Gravlin (Georgette), Michele Lesniak (Kurt), Mike Kendall, Tony (Tracy) Bellhorn, Lisa Kendall (Jesse), Angie Kendall, Will Kendall (Tonya), great grandchildren; Lee, Corey, Brittany, Brett, Robert, Katie, Zackery, Logan, Blake, Cheyenne, Lannah, Mac, Raeann and Cassandra, Many nieces and nephews, three dear friends; Shiela, Ruth and Barb. Will be deeply missed by her furry companions; Sam, Cindy and Midget. She was predeceased by her parents and five brothers and three sisters. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Reed Schroer with private inurnment at a later date in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 p.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
