Erika L. Aumock

Erika passed peacefully early Saturday morning, March 1, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family at the age of 40 years. She was born January 24, 1974 in Springfield, Illinois. She was a member of the Moravian Church. Erika worked as a substitute school teacher. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, husband and her family. Erika also enjoyed knitting, teaching local knitting classes, working in her flower gardens and reading. Left to cherish her mem ory is her husband; Adair W. Aumock whom she married May 31, 1997, her loving children; Cailynn and Avian Aumock, her parents; Roger and Evelyn Bare, her father-in-law and mother-in-law; William and Janice Aumock, two sisters; Erin Alton and her husband Dustin, Emily Paiser and her husband Jake, one brother; Evan Bare and his wife Karen, one sister-in-law; Koiki Hallberg and her husband Jason, her grandparents-in-law; Clifton and Hildy Bell and Mary Jane Aumock, numerous aunts, uncles, her niece and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. At Erika's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will take place Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moravian Church 2711 Cass, Unionville MI 48767. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Darryl Bell. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. 201 W. Midland St., Bay City, MI 48706 on Monday, March 3, 2014 to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
