Ernest W. Stanley

Ernest passed early Tuesday morning, July 30, 2013 at Bay Special Care Hospital at the age of 91 years. The son of the late Edward and Julia Ann (Reed) Stanley was born October 27, 1921 in Kawkawlin, MI. He retired from the construction industry as a fabricator. Mr. Stanley served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II where he received a purple heart and a bronze star. He was a member of Amvets Post #22 on Pine Rd. At the request of Mr. Stanley he has donated his body to the University of Michigan Medical School. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Gephart Funeral Home.
