Esther M. Meister

Mrs. Esther M. Meister, of Bay City, passed away Friday afternoon, February 20, 2015 at The Carriage House of Bay City, age 95. The daughter of the late John and Mary Lobsinger, she was born on June 22, 1919 in Linwood. Esther was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Early in life, she worked at Bay City Chevrolet and Mercy Hospital. And then for many years she owned a children's clothing store in Bay City. Esther then worked for several years as an in home caregiver. Besides her parents, Esther was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Meister in 1976; and her son, Hans J. Meister in 2003. She is survived by her brother, Ed (Mary) Lobsinger of Albright Shores, MI; and her nieces and nephews, Ron (Doris) Cuthbert, Pat Duberry, Maynard (Joan) Rezmer and Betty Rezmer. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Apostolic Christian Church. The Clergy of the Church will officiate and interment will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery. Mrs. Meister will lie instate at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
