Esther D. Pritchard

Mrs. Pritchard passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Rachel Sovereign Memorial Home. Age 93 years. The daughter of the late Thomas and Elaine (Berlein) Ryder was born June 2, 1925 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mrs. Pritchard enjoyed children, animals, shopping, MSU Basketball, being social with family and friends and always looking her best.

Mrs. Pritchard is survived by one son, Thomas (Merrily) Pritchard; two daughters, Ellen (Howard) Wendland and Kathryn Ellico; four grandchildren, Timothy Pritchard and his significant other, Ria Cooper, Chris (Brenda) Wendland, Mark (Katherine) Wendland and Justin (Caitlin) Ellico; four great grandchildren, Kathryn Wendland, Victoria Wendland, Jack Ellico and Cooper Ellico; two grand dogs, Theo and Molly; special friends, Dr. Michael Gruber and his family, David Pawlak, Sophie, the staff at the Rachel Sovereign Memorial Home, Erica Wales, Pat, Colleen, Michele, and Nancy Weller and family, special friend and caregiver, Margaret Adcock. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Seymour Pritchard; one grandson, Thomas A. Pritchard; two sisters-in-law, Mary Kathryn (Alton) Miller and Ardath (Al) Gaspeny; son-in-law, David Ellico.

At the request of Mrs. Pritchard cremation has taken place and there will be no services or viewing at the Gephart Funeral Home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Rachel Sovereign Memorial Home, McLaren Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
