Esther H. Teuscher

Esther Hedwig (Kernstock) Teuscher passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 87 years. She was born on May 29, 1927 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Teuscher was a long time member of St Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust where she was baptized on June 5, 1927, confirmed on March 17, 1940 and was married on August 27, 1950 to Rev. Richard A. Teuscher and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1974. Esther retired as a cook from Bangor Twp. Schools. She was a member of the Friendship Circle and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She leaves behind four sons and one daughter to cherish her memories; Rev. Michael and Elisabeth Teuscher, Rev. Timothy and Paula Teuscher, Steven and Diane Teuscher, Jonathan and Terri Teuscher and Debra Salinas, fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister; Irma McKenzie. Funeral services will take place Friday, January 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Paul D. Theiss with interment following in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Teuscher will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 1:00 p.m. and until the time of service.
