Wiesenauer, Esther Eleanor Bay City, Michigan Esther passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Mid-Michigan Stratford Village in Midland. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Weiss) Feinauer was born February 21, 1926 in Bay City. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the altar guild and served many years as the church sexton. Esther enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, gardening and sewing block quilts. Surviving are three sons; Randall (Cynthia) Wiesenauer of Auburn, MI, Roger (Janet) Wiesenauer of Las Vegas, NV, and Richard (Cynthia) Wiesenauer of Hampshire, TN, three daughters; Lori (John) VerSteeg of Oxford, MI, Amy Wiesenauer of Las Vegas, NV and Beth (Robert) Stafford of Midland, MI, ten grandchildren; Eric (Jennifer) Wiesenauer, Brian (Erin) Wiesenauer, Michael Wiesenauer, Russell McCann, William Wiesenauer, Andrew, Matthew and Marshall VerSteeg, Christopher and Nicholas Stafford, two step great grandchildren, one sister; Mildred (Ben) Ferrio of Bay City, one brother; Elmer Feinauer of Lansing, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Walter Wiesenauer whom she married April 2, 1949, four brothers; Erwin, Harold, Hilmar and Melvin Feinauer, two sisters; Ruth Beiser and Aurelia Feinauer. Funeral and committal services will take place Monday, January 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Esther will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services.
