Ethel "Helen" Goss

Helen passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in Harlingen, Texas where she enjoyed to winter. Age 79 years. The daughter of the late Harry and Ethel (Van Horn) Pendred was born April 16, 1939 in Au Gres, MI. Her husband, brothers and nieces and nephews were her life and very important. She enjoyed bowling, playing, cards, quilting, making afghan's and growing glad's in her garden, fishing and watching sports.
She is survived by two brothers, Herbert Pendred and Duane (Diana) Pendred, her nieces and nephews, Craig (Angie) Pendred, Cathy (Greg) Lelo, Laurie Pendred and Erin (Mike) Fox and many other nieces and nephews; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth, Peggy Goss, Chester Reder, Wanda Goss, Yvonne Johnson and Ruby and Dave Lyon. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. "Jim" Goss whom she married July 16, 1960; her mother-in-law, Cecelia Goss, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joann Goss, Raymond Johnson, Russell Goss and Marilyn Reder,  Phylis Pendred, Wilfred Goss
Funeral and Committal Services will take place on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fred Cordts with private interment in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.
