Eva passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at her residence at the age of 95 years. She was born on December 10, 1924 in Saginaw to the late Peter and Felicia Grzenia. Eva was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish where she was involved with funeral lunches. On April 12, 1947 she married James McCullough and they were married for 62 years until his passing on December 21, 2009. She loved sewing, making clothing and doll clothing, reading, gardening and loved animals and her family.
Eva is survived by her children, Susan (Dr. Howard) Hurt and Gail Eanes; grandchildren, Kimberly (Walt) Anderson, Danielle "Elle" (Jason Dreyer) Pembroke, Nicholaus Eanes and Courtney (Austin) Keck; granddaughter-in-law, Liisa Pembroke; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her grandsons, Nathan Pembroke and Christopher Burnette.
Prayer service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with private burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 10 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to your local food pantry or the Humane Society of Bay County.
