Mrs. Adams passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Niche Aging and Adult Daycare. Age 77 years. Evelyn was born September 25, 1936 in Miller City, Michigan and has resided in Bay City all of her life. Mrs. Adams was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was retired from Bay County Probate Court after 24 years of service. She received the Child Care Worker of the Year award from the State of Michigan and was a former real estate agent for Heinz Real Estate. Mrs. Adams also enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and playing cards.Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Cletis J. Adams; three children, Larry and Julia Ollett of Bay City, Robert Ollett of Lapeer, Michigan and Brenda and Mike Schultz of Bay City; one step daughter, Cheryl and Kurtlin Wellnitz of Bay City; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; her close friends Al and Lois LaBrosse, Norma English and many other good friends. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Lillian Bellor; two brothers and four sisters.At the request of Mrs. Adams cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin C. Jones. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for Immanuel Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home.
