Evelyn G. Beck

Mrs. Evelyn G. Beck, of Bay City, passed away following a brief illness on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Bay Shores Nursing Center, age 93. The daughter of the late Arthur & Tillie (Kowalski) Platt, she was born May 30, 1921 in Detroit. Evelyn was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed going to the casino, and playing bingo and card games. Mrs. Beck is survived by five children, Harold Fred Beck, Jr., Carol (Garry LaFever) Eberlein, Grace Price, Elaine (Glenn) Stickler and Gloria (Mark) Voisine; two special granddaughters, Tara (Hugo) Kloska and Ann Marie Eberlein; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Seabolt and Alice Diener; three brothers, John (Pat) Aggas, Daniel (Esther) Aggas and Harold (Shirley) Aggas; and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her step-father, John Aggas; her husband, Harold F. Beck, Sr.; a daughter, Barbara Beck; a sister, Gertrude Meek; and two brothers, Clifford Aggas and Kenneth Aggas. It was Evelyn's desire for cremation to take place and that no services be held.
