Evelyn W. Migda, age 80, of Bay City, passed away March 18, 2020 at the Toni and Trish House. Evelyn was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 24, 1940, the daughter of the late Mary Martha (nee Tandaric) Novotny and the late Valentine Thomas Novotny. Evelyn excelled at St. Rose of Lima Catholic grammar school, getting all "A's" in the sixth grade! After a math major at Marygrove College, Evelyn worked at the GM Tech Center in Warren, Michigan, then became a legal secretary at Joslyn Keitel in downtown Detroit. Since 2009, Evelyn resided in Bay City where she was known for her many parties in the beautiful condo she loved to decorate, and for which she spent many hours shopping to find just the right accents for her home. Evelyn also loved to decorate the garden of her condo in summers with dozens of flower pots. Through her parties and because of her love of people, Evelyn made many close friends. A devout Catholic at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish, Evelyn served as Secretary of the Social Committee, as a Communion Minister, and at many church events. Evelyn traveled extensively in Michigan such as to the Tulip Festival in Holland and also enjoyed a trip abroad on a cruise from Budapest to Prague in 2016.
