Evelyn V. Sampson

Evelyn passed away, Thursday, January 1, 2015 at her residence. Age 78 years. The daughter of the late Louis and Jessie (Reese) Grew was born November 25, 1936 in Akron, Michigan. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Jim; one daughter, Rebecca Root and her husband Roger; one son, James and his wife Laura; one grandson, Axel Root; two brothers, Howard, and Louie and his wife Nita; one sister, Mary and many nieces and nephews. At Evelyn's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing or services at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Humane Society of Bay County.
