Fern Dale Schatzer

Mrs. Schatzer passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 94 years. The daughter of the late Roy and Hazel (Reynolds) Pyle was born in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Schatzer was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose and was the past president of the F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Schatzer is survived by one daughter, Sherry Proctor; one son, Craig L. Haller; two daughters-in-law, Angie Schatzer and Pam Schatzer; thirteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, John L. Haller in 1945; second husband, Lyle G. Schatzer in 1994; two sons, Terry L. Schatzer and Lance L. Schatzer; two grandsons, Michael Lyle Schatzer and Kyle Schatzer; one grandaughter, Lori Proctor Beam, one sister, Mildred N. Peck; two brothers, Brainard "Mutt" Pyle and Ray Pyle; one son-in-law, James Proctor and two sisters-in-law, Kelly and Marie Pyle.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Members of the Eagles Aerie #1010 Auxiliary will meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. for a service of rememberance. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
