Florence Beatrice Ackley

Florence passed early Friday morning, August 18, 2017 at Brian's House. Age 80 years. The daughter of the late Carl and LaVina E. (Yacks) Etheridge was born May 18, 1937 in Bay City. She worked as a school crossing guard for many years. She is survived by her son, Don (Wanda) Ackley; her granddaughter, Brooke Marie (Steven); five great grandchildren, Austin and Aaron Carl French; two great great grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including her special nieces, Beatrice "Sugar: LeClair, Judy (Joe) Clancey, Diane (Brooke) Keane; many great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Don H. Ackley; two sisters, Beatrice Steward and Mary Mc Cann. At the request of Florence cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell with inurnment following at East Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw, MI.
