Rezler, Florence of Bay City, Michigan passed suddenly away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine (Buczek) Halub was born on June 3, 1921 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Kiesel Pearl's Altar Sodality, Felician Sister Auxiliary and the League of Catholic Women and Men. She is survived by two children and their spouses; Janice and John Wagner of Dumfries, VA and Tom and Pam Rezler of Bay City, her grandchildren; Andy Wagner, John Wagner Jr. , Molly Rezler and Cathy Rezler, two great grandchildren; Priscilla Mei and Nile Gadissa Wagner, one brother; Leonard (Mary Jane) Halub of Muskegon, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Evelyn Gramacki, Angie (Dick) Maciejewski, Gerry Rezler , Fern Halub, Charles Krause and many nieces and nephews. On May 10, 1946 she married her husband of sixty years Stanley E. (Stub) Rezler and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2006. She was also preceded in death by one son; William Rezler, two brothers; Harry Halub and Raymond (Vi) Halub, two sisters; Virginia (Irwin) Andrejewski and Joan Krause and her brothers-in-law; Ben Rezler, Edwin Rezler and Joe Gramacki. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to her niece Nancy Harrelson and the staff at Bay Shores Nursing Home for the kind and compassionate care they extended to Mrs. Rezler during her stay with them. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Kevin N. Kerbawy with the Rite of Committal in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.. Members of the Kiesel Pearls and the Felician Sisters Auxiliary will meet at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. to recite the Rosary. Mrs. Rezler will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
