Florine Mae Decker

Florine Mae Decker Bay City, Michigan Our loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully Monday morning February 1, 2016 at Bay Shores Nursing Center. Age 89 years. She was born on August 19, 1926 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. Mrs. Decker was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish-St. Mary's Church, the Little Flower Alter Society and was a former member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. She was a member of the Bay County Democratic Party and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Left behind to cherish her memories are three children and their spouses; Deborah and Dan Hiltz, Robert Jr. and Deborah Decker and Mary Jo and Casey Parkinson, six grandchildren; Melissa and Tim Przybyszewski, Danielle and Darryll Lambrecht, Ryan Decker, Joel Decker, Andrew and Amie Parkinson and Saree and Bradley Pudvan, six great grandchildren; one sister; Dorothy Przygocki and one sister-in-law; Sue LeClair. On October 20, 1951 she married Robert M. Decker Sr. and he preceded her in death on September 30, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; William and Laura (Pilon) LeClair, one brother; William LeClair and one brother-in-law; Benjamin Przygocki. The Funeral Liturgy will take place Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Patrick M. Jankowiak with private interment and Rite of Committal in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. to receive visitors. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place at Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Decker will be taken to the church on Wednesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Memorial contributions will be available at the funeral home for McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
