Frank James Helminiak

Mr. Helminiak passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center. Age 76 years. The son of the late Frank and Doris (Ciaciuch) Helminiak was born July 6, 1942 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Mr. Helminiak was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and served on the St. Hedwig parish council for 3 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from GM Powertrain after 33 years of service. Mr. Helminiak loved dogs and enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and gambling.

Mr. Helminiak is survived by two sisters, Mary Jane Smith and Maxine Dallaire; three nephews and one niece. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one nephew, Kevin Deno and one brother-in-law, James Smith.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Corpus Christi Parish - St. Hedwig Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with private entombment and military honors following in St. Stanislaus Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Corpus Christi Parish - St. Hedwig Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial Cards for Corpus Christi Parish will be available at the church.
