Franklin David "Frank" Hanthorn

Frank passed away early Friday morning June 19, 2015 at Country Square Adult Foster Care in Auburn. Age 71 years. The son of the late Clarence and Emma (Meyer) Hanthorn was born July 6, 1943 in Bay City. Frank retired from American Bottling Company/7up. He enjoyed going hunting, bowling, going to the casino and also enjoyed visiting with his neighbors. Left to cherish Frank's memories is his wife of 49 years, the former Joyce Geisz whom he married March 5, 1966, one son; Christopher (Mary) Hanthorn, his brother; John (Louise) Hanthorn, his sister-in-law; Nancy Nowak, his brothers-in-law; Louis (Polly) VonGrey and Ken Harrison, his best friend; Stan Kortz many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Henry and Marie Geisz, his brothers and sisters; Richard "Duke" Hanthorn, Rita VonGrey, Jeanne Harrison and Sammy Hanthorn. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 12:00 O'clock Noon at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor David Valley with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to received visitors from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
