Fredalena M. Amman

Mrs. Amman passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Carriage House Nursing Home. Age 95 years. The daughter of the late William and Clara (Maike) Martin was born April 24, 1915 in Maple Grove Township, MI. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mrs. Amman worked at Salzburg Upholstery, Klemm Upholstery as a seamstress and in her later years as a care giver. She is survived by one daughter: Jan (Lyn) Wegener of Bay City, her grandchildren: Rachelle Nozero of Novi, MI, Michael (Patty) Wegener of Palm Springs FL, Martin Wegener of Essexville, Chris (Diane) Wegener of Land O Lakes, FL, seven great grand children and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Elmer L. Amman whom she married April 27, 1935 and he passed away December 3, 1948, one brother; Sylvester (Lorraine) Martin, two sisters; Henrietta (Wenzlick) Arnold and Germaine Martin. The family of Mrs. Amman would like to extend a special Thank you to the staff of the Carriage House Nursing Home for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received. At the request of Mrs. Amman cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will take place Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Craig L. Albrecht with private inurnment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Chesaning, MI. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
