Frederick Lee Oelberg

Frederick Lee Oelberg passed away after 90 years on this earth. He was born in Saginaw to David and Agnes (Mead) Oelberg, who predeceased him. He was married for 70 years to Jacqueline Taylor. Fred served in the Navy in the South Pacific with the 2nd Argus Command. He retired from the Michigan Bell Telephone Company after 40 years of service. Fred is survived by a daughter Nancy (Michael) Stark, sons John (Linda) Oelberg, James (Rose) Oelberg and a daughter Joan (Dennis) Rajewski. He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Andrea and Timothy (Grace) Oelberg, Chris (Arleen) Stark and Julie (Shane) Cotton, and Sara and Ryan Rajewski. His great grandchildren are Dominic and Andrew Stark, Briella and Tesla Oelberg and Cameron and Brandon Cotton. He leaves behind a sister Ann (Ted) Waterman. His family would like to thank McLaren and Dobson homecare and the services of the hospice facility Toni and Trish House in Fisherville. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, January 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be his son Rev. John Oelberg followed by Military Honors. Private interment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to the Toni and Trish House.
