Pauline passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Traditions of Saginaw at the age of 89. She was born in Erlbach, Germany on September 4, 1934 to the late George and Margaret (Hoffman) Nolp. Pauline met her Husband Frank, while he was stationed in Germany. They married on December 30, 1955 in Germany. She was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Pauline enjoyed tending to her flower garden, Bird watching and feeding and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Pauline is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey (Susan) Crabtree, Scott (Darlene Baker) Crabtree and Brian (Sandy) Crabtree; six grandchildren, Gregory (Laura) Crabtree, Matthew (Jennifer) Crabtree, Stephanie (Jason) Lee, Sarah (Ryan) Absher, Dalton (Erica) Crabtree and Owen Crabtree; ten great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Crabtree; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Crabtree and great grandchild, Emily Lee.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Traditions of Saginaw and Covenant VNA Hospice for the outstanding care they provided Pauline.
Funeral and Committal Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Seafert with private burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Mrs. Crabtree will be taken to the church on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church General Fund.
