On Sunday, August 11th, 2019, God and all of his heavenly saints opened the book and invited Gail into the heavenly fold.
Gail Ann Devens was born August 25th, 1947 to Fred and Gertrude Devens. She grew up in Flint, MI and met her husband, of 52 years, Arthur. They were married in February of 1967. Shortly after, Gail and Art made their home in Midland, MI where in addition to raising a family together; Gail attended Delta College School of Nursing. This became the career that Gail could help the most people and still make a living. She worked in hospitals, home health care, diabetes education and public health for Saginaw County.
Gail loved many things including, music, art, painting and reading, but she especially loved all of her fury pets. Of all of them, her dog Toto and adopted cat, GP, were among her favorites.
Gail is survived by her husband, Art; sons, David (Kathy) and Bryan (Monica); grandchildren, Jaclyn, Brandon, Chelsea and Haley; brother, John (Julia) Hull; sister, Dianne (Dennis) Troy; special nephew, Stephen Bratcher and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Hollenbeck and brother, Larry Hull.
Funeral service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Wally Mayton. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
