Gail A. Lisius

Gail passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 67 years. She was born on August 1, 1953 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Elmer and Marion (Boehm) Lisius. She attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary and Handy High school, after graduating from high school Gail then attended Delta College where she received her associate's degree in nursing and became an LPN, She later worked as a pharmaceutical rep and a Manager for quest Diagnostics. Gail was a member of St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed making chocolates, cooking and baking, traveling, horseback riding and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was very courageous and remained strong in her faith through all of the difficult trials she endured throughout her life.
Gail is survived by her two children, Erin (Beau) Bergstrom and Brandon (Amy) Moquin; seven grandchildren, Austin, Colton, Grant, Maya, Molly, Grayson and Bristol; two brothers, Al (Marie) Lisius and Tim Lisius and sister, Jill (Allan) Ferrio. In addition to her parents Gail is preceded in death by her sister, Beth Loop.
Funeral Services will take place Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Seafert. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. to receive family and friends on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. We are still under the governor's order of allowing 25 people in our chapel at one time, so you may experience a wait. We are requiring facemasks and social distancing when attending the visitation and service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church or the American Diabetes Association.
