Garey W. MacDonald Jr.

Garey passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 78 years. He was born in Bay City on September 1, 1942 to the late Garey and Rita (Piasecki) MacDonald. Garey was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish - St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and graduated from St. James Catholic High School. He married the former Gloria Wisniewski on February 24, 1962 and they were married for 58 years. Garey worked and retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after many years.
Garey is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann MacDonald; son, David MacDonald; grandchildren, Adam MacDonald, Sara (Brendan) Grace and First Lieutenant Sam Lampman; brother, Mike (Kathy) MacDonald; sister, Mimi (Steve) Mikolajczak and sister-in-law, Shirley MacDonald. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Karen MacDonald.
At the request of Garey, cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service will take place with inurnment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
