Gary L. Frank

Gary L. Frank, age 71, passed away Friday afternoon. The son of the late Clarence and Alzena (Wirbel) Frank was born April 27, 1939, and lived his entire life on the family farm in Kawkawlin. He worked multiple positions for Consumers Power, retiring in 1983. Gary continued farming for the remainder of his life. For many years, Gary sold Pioneer Seed Corn with his father, brother and son. He was also a retired member of Monitor Township Fire Department. He married Janet Wirsing on September 13, 1958 and she survives him. They just celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary. Also surviving are his three children: Todd (DeAnne) of Glenview, Illinois, Troy (Diana Blades) of Kawkawlin, and Amy (Scott) Perrault of Findlay, Ohio; Four grandchildren: Christopher and T.J. Frank and Alexandra and Mitchell Perrault; one brother; Jack (Marilyn) of Bay City; and many cousins and life long friends. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church in Kawkawlin. Officiating will be Pastor Larry Seafert. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Cards will be available at the funeral home for St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church. www.gerphartfuneralhome.com
