Gary A. Hensley

Gary went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus on June 3, 2018 at the Toni and Trish House at the age of 67 years. Gary was born on December 28, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to the late L. Edward and Juanita (Bivens) Hensley. Gary attended New Beginnings Church in Bay City. He received a Bachelor's and Master's of business administration degree and went on to hold all four offices within the Bay City School Board.
Gary is survived by his wife, Donna (Sumner); son, Andrew Hensley; brother, Dr. Dennis (Rose) Hensley; sister, Pamela Hensley; sister-in-law, Vicky Sumner; nephew, Nathan (Alice) Hensley; niece, Jeanette (Kyle) Sagarsee; great nieces, Grace and Lillian Hensley and Kate Sagarsee; great nephew, Jack Sagarsee.
Per Gary's wishes cremation has taken place, a memorial service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Kelly Isbell, Sr. with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
