Gary A. Taylor

Mr. Gary A. Taylor, of Bay City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, February 26, 2015 at his residence, age 62. The son of the late Bernard and Virginia (Orlowski) Taylor, he was born on February 8, 1953 in Saginaw. On April 27, 1974 Gary married the former Elizabeth "Betsy" Penney, and she survives his passing. He was currently employed at First Mobile Homes / Payless Trailers on Huron Road. Gary most of all enjoyed spending time with his family, especially barbequing, going to the casino and he loved going up north. He also enjoyed going for breakfast at Ole Tyme Broadway on Saturday mornings. Besides his wife Betsy, Gary is also survived by his two daughters, Amy (Nate) Rankey and their children, Aiden and Brady, and Jenny (Don) Stefanski and their daughter, Lauren; his brothers and sisters, Butch (Charlotte) Taylor, Sandy Przygocki, Larry (Barb) Taylor, Rick Taylor, Stacy (Rick) Weaver and Denise (Pat) Bender; and many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Gary was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hugh and Betty Penney; a sister-in-law, Peggy Taylor; and two brothers-in-law, Louie Przygocki and Terry Rard. The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Joy Fletcher Thompson. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
